From 2001 to 2005, he worked as assistant chief counsel for ICE in New York, N.Y., and San Antonio. From 2000 to 2001, he was assistant chief counsel for the former Immigration and Naturalization Service in Newark, N.J. Judge Martinez is a member of the New York State Bar.
