Attorney General William P. Barr appointed Edward P. Grogan as an Immigration Judge in October 2020. Judge Grogan earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1984 from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor in 1992 from Albany Law School. From 2000 to 2020, he served as anassistant U.S. attorney at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York, in Albany, New York. From 1994 to 2000, he served as a U.S. army judge advocate general officer,in Korea, Belgium, and Virginia. In 1993, he was in private practice, in Clifton Park, New York.From 1984 to 1988, he served as an army infantry officer, in Georgia and Germany. Judge Grogan is a member of the New York State Bar.
