Amy K.R. Zaske was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in November 2023. Judge Zaske earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1998 from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Juris Doctor in 2006 from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law. From 2007 to 2023, she was an assistant chief counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, Minneapolis – Saint Paul. In 2007, she served as an unemployment law judge at the Department of Employment and Economic Development for the State of Minnesota. Judge Zaske is a member of the Minnesota State Bar.
