Ann M. Welhaf was appointed as an Immigration Judge to begin hearing cases in October 2022. From 2008 to 2021, she served as a trial attorney at the Office of Immigration Litigation, Civil Division, Department of Justice. From 1990 to 2003, she served as a trial attorney for the Internal Revenue Service, Office of Chief Counsel, in Phoenix, and Washington, D.C., and, from 2004 to 2008, she served as managing counsel of the Washington, D.C. Field Litigation Office. Judge Welhaf is a member of the Colorado Bar.
