James T. Dehn was appointed as an Immigration Judge to begin hearing cases in August 2022. Also, from 2007 to 2011, he served as a government appellate counsel, and from 2002 to 2006, as a trial defense counsel, in the U.S. Army Reserve, Judge Advocate General’s Corps, National Capital Region. From 2000 to 2005, he served as an attorney advisor at the Office of General Counsel, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, in Washington, D.C. From 1998 to 1999, he was an associate attorney at Whelan, De Maio & Kiszkiel PA, in Miami. Judge Dehn is a member of the Maryland State Bar.
