Attorney General Barr appointed Kevin L. Brown to begin hearing cases in January 2020. From 1999 to 2016, he served as a judge advocate for the U.S. Army in the following locations: Fort Gordon, Georgia; Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Karshi-Khanabad, Uzbekistan; Charlottesville, Virginia; Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Tikrit, Iraq; Fort Irwin, California; Suffolk, Virginia; and Fort Sam, Houston, Texas. Judge Brown is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
