Jason Lawrence Stern was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in November 2023. From 2015 to 2018, he served as a presidential management fellow and asylum officer in Asylum Headquarters, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, DHS in Washington, D.C. From 2014 to 2015, Judge Stern clerked for the Honorable Sohail Mohammed, Judge of the Superior Court, in the Chancery Division, Family Part of the Passaic County Court in New Jersey. Judge Stern is a member of the New Jersey State Bar.
