From 2009 to October 2010, he practiced immigration law in Dallas, Texas. From 1995 to 2009, Judge Karden practiced immigration law in Palm Beach County, Fla. He is a past chair of the Florida Bar Immigration Certification Committee and a past president of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, South Florida Chapter. Judge Karden is a member of the Florida Bar.
