Attorney General Jeff Sessions appointed Jacqueline J. Jackson to begin hearing cases in June 2018. From 2006 to 2018, she was a seniorattorney with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security (DHS)in San Francisco. From 2000 to 2006, she worked as an agency counsel for Customs and Border Protection, DHS, in San Diego and San Francisco. From 1997 to 1999, she was an assistant U.S.attorney in San Diego. Her active duty military service includes: from 1996 to 1997, trial counselfor the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAGC) in Fort Hood, Texas; from 1994 to 1996,professional recruiter for JAGC in Fort Belvoir, Va.; from 1992 to 1994, an attorney advisor forthe Defense Supply Service in Washington, D.C.; and from 1990 to 1992, a legal assistant andlabor advisor for the U.S. Army in Bayonne, N.J. Judge Jackson is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar.
